Ingredients
6-9
pound
spiral sliced ham
1
cup
apple juice
1
cup
brown sugar
1
cup
maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine the apple juice, brown sugar, and maple syrup.
Bring to a bubble and reduce heat to medium low.
Reduce mixture until it is thickened and glazy, about 10-15 minutes.
Place your ham into a baking dish, fatty side up and pour any liquids from the packaging on top of the ham. Coat it with half of the glaze mixture.
Cover tightly with foil and bake in the center of your oven for 1 ½ to 2 hours until a thermometer inserted at the thickest part reads 140 degrees F.
Carefully remove the foil and pour the rest of the glaze over the ham.
Put under the broiler in your stove for about 5-7 minutes, watching closely. You want the sugar to caramelize, not burn.
Serve!
Notes
Servings are estimated using 3/4 to 1 pound per person for a bone-in ham.
