A fresh and flavorful guacamole recipe that is great as a party dip on chips, to accompany your tacos or for a Tuesday afternoon snack! My secret ingredients will have your brain saying, “Hmmm…what makes this so good?” while your taste buds are saying, “Give me more!” {Did that sound like I should be a commentator on Food Network?}
Are you wondering what my secret ingredients are? I thought you were…well let me whisper them to you, but only if you don’t think I am nuts!?? Deal? OK come in close….cucumbers and salsa out of jar! I KNOW! Crazy right? I promise you though. The cucumber gives the guacamole this absolute perfect freshness and bite and the salsa gives it a whole new level of flavor! Seriously…give it a try…I know you will love it too!

Cheryl’s "Holy Guacamole" Recipe

- 2 each avocado
- 1 each plum tomato, seeded
- 1 each lime
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cucumber*, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons of cilantro, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of pre-made salsa**
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Begin by cutting your avocados in half, removing the pit, and scooping the flesh out of the skin with a large spoon.
- Place avacado in bowl and smash with a fork until broken down.
- Add onion, cucumber, cilantro, and salsa and mix until incorporated.
- Give your lime a good roll on your cutting board and then slice in half and juice into bowl, mix well.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.

I didn’t have cucumber so I din’t use it. The recipe still tasted good without cucumber though. ;)
