Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year? Friendsgiving? You can make yourself some cute little turkey place cards to adorn your Thanksgiving Day table or buffet line! Let me show you how with this easy Thanksgiving Craft. They are so easy to make you will want to make a place card for everything!!
Supplies Needed for Turkey Place Cards:
- Flower Feathers from my Turkey Napkin Ring Post
- Small thin wire (I used jewelry wire)
- Cork
- Cardstock/scissors or a cutting machine like a Cameo!
- glue
- hot glue/glue gun
I start out by cutting a short length of wire. 6 inches or so and I just used some small pliers to basically wind it around itself. Don’t do a corkscrew type of swirl…keep it flat like a paper clip.
Next I hot glued the feathers to the back of the cork and stuck in the wire spiral.
Using my Cameo I cut up some cute little place cards. You can certainly just cut some rectangles from cardstock as well. I glued the dark brown cardstock behind the cream with scrapbooking glue. Write on your name and stick in the spiral.
Mine stood up just fine as is, but if yours are too top heavy, simply glue a penny to the bottom of the cork! ;-) {I am full of solutions today!}
