I love fun mugs and I love to make sure I encompass all beverage drinkers! I puffy heart coffee but I know my BFF Heidi from Happiness is Homemade loves tea and my kids want fun mugs but they drink hot chocolate, so I love to offer all the options!

Blank Mug (Dollar Tree or Amazon)
Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine
Black Adhesive vinyl, permanent
Transfer Tape
Weeding hook
Scraper
Rubbing alcohol prep pad

How to Make Jack Skellington Mugs

Time needed: 10 minutes

Easily make Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington inspired coffee, tea, and hot cocoa mugs to enjoy year-round!

Upload SVG to Design Software
Grab the download below and upload it to your respective design software. Here are detailed tutorials on how to do that:

– How to Upload an SVG to Cricut Design Space
– How to Upload an SVG to Silhouette Studio
Resize if Needed
Resize the design to fit your particular mug.
Cut your Vinyl.
It’s now time to cut your vinyl. You may find detailed info for cutting on both Silhouette and Cricut below if you are not familiar:

– How to Cut Adhesive Vinyl with a Cricut
– How to Cut Adhesive Vinyl with a Silhouette
Weed the Design
This means taking a weeding hook and removing the excess adhesive vinyl leaving only the design behind on the carrier sheet.
Apply Transfer Tape
Cut a piece of transfer tape that covers your entire vinyl design. Adhere the transfer tape to the design by using the scraper tool.
Apply the Vinyl Design
Carefully remove the paper carrier sheet leaving your design adhered to the transfer tape. Position the tape/design on your mug smoothing out any air bubbles or wrinkles with your finger or the scraper tool.

Remove the transfer tape carefully, leaving your design behind on the mug.
