Supplies for Reindeer Puzzle Piece Ornament:
- Puzzle Pieces
- Brown Paint & Paint Brush
- Hot Glue & Glue Sticks
- Googly Eyes
- Red Pom-pom
- Green Ribbon or twine
I find the best puzzles at my dollar store! The head is a piece from a 100 pc puzzle and the antlers are pieces from a 500 piece puzzle!
This is also a great project for those puzzles with those pieces that ran off into the night never to return again! ;-) We have that problem around here!
How to Make Reindeer Puzzle Piece Ornaments:
Time needed: 30 minutes
Use puzzle pieces to create adorable reindeer puzzle piece ornaments perfect for gift giving, kids crafts for class parties and on your tree!
- Paint The Puzzle Pieces
Choose three puzzle pieces that are more long and skinny vs short and stout! Paint them brown with acrylic paint and let dry.
- Glue the Pieces Together
When the paint is dry, carefully use hot glue to tack the antlers onto the facepiece.
- Add Googly Eyes
Use the glue gun to add small googly eyes to the facepiece.
- Add Pompom Nose
Add a small red pom-pom to the facepiece as Rudolph’s nose.
- Add Ribbon for Hanging
Finally, tack a ribbon loop onto the back of the reindeer face in order to hang on your tree!
