Oh I have the most fabulous project today! These Gift Tag Gift Card Holders took me less than 15 minutes start to finish and I fussed with a baby for a bit in there too! But would you guess it from looking at them??? Looks like I spent way more time than I actually did! I love projects like this! I also love being a part of the We R Memory Keepers Team, so that I get to share with you these fun products and projects (and discounts!!!)
Supplies Needed:
- Nesting Tag Dies
- Evolution
- Genius Platform
- Nesting Dies that came with Evolution
- Scrapbooking Cardstock
- Sewing Machine/thread
- Crop-A-Dile
- Eyelets
- Ribbon
- Sticky Thumb Adhesive
I used my Evolution and Genius Platform to cut out 6 of the Tags using the Nesting Tag Dies. I cut them without the hole. I also cut 3 of the scrolly frames as well. You can find a detailed cutting tutorial here.
Next I cut one of the tags off about 1/4 way from the top. This will become my top piece.
I stitched these together with my sewing machine. That’s right…just sew right through the two pieces of paper like they are fabric! (you could also hot glue for the please-don’t-make-me-sew readers! {wink})
Next I gathered my crop-a-dile and some eyelets. ( I ADORE my crop-a-dile)
I punched a hole in my tag.
Then set an eyelet using the crop-a-dile as well.
I adhered the scrolly frames on the front of the tags with my Sticky Thumb and then tied with some ribbon.
And insert your favorite gift cards! You can write the To: / From: on the blank scrolly tag.
This is a cute way to give a gift card this holiday season and seriously….less than 15 minutes to make?!? Rock on! You can use CHESAYS for 20% off ANYTHING on the We R Memory Keepers site! Yay for discounts!
