Football Napkin Rings + 10 Football Projects

Oh the season is upon us friends!  FOOTBALL SEASON!  Whether you are a professional, college or high school football enthusiast, these Football Napkin Rings are perfect for game day fun! You only need a few supplies to make these super fun table accessory!

Supplies Needed for Football Napkin Rings:

• Football textured Scrapbooking cardstock (partner link)
• Thin White Ribbon
• Crop-A-Dile  (partner link)
• Hot glue gun/glue sticks
• Empty toilet paper or paper towel rolls
• Scissors

First cut your toilet paper rolls in half crosswise.  If using a paper towel roll, simply cut in about 2 inch pieces.  Cut enough scrapbooking cardstock to wrap around the cut roll.

I picked up this 8.5 x 11 sheet of this paper that looks exactly like a football at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft stores!

Using your hot glue, adhere the paper to the roll and secure in place.

Using your Crop-A-Dile, make holes in your napkin rings to resemble the stitches of a football.

String your ribbon through the holes.

Tie the ends together inside the napkin ring and then trim the excess ribbon after the knot.

Lastly, I wrap a set of plastic silverware inside a bandanna in my favorite team’s colors and insert in the napkin ring.

Now at your tailgate or house party, you can just pick up a ring and have all your silverware and napkin all in one tidy little package!  No more dropping your fork while reaching for the ketchup or watching your paper napkins blow away in the wind!
