I am back again with another version of deliciousness! Valentine Pretzel Bites! Mini-twist pretzels and heart candies create the illusion of a heart shape when you add some candy melts in fun Valentine colors!
I might be a bit obsessed with this treat. Seriously. They are sooooo good and they take next to nothing to make so they are easy to whip up in no time but are cute to boot! Fill a mason jar, a cute candy treat bag or a fun little bowl with them and they make the perfect gift! The key to someone’s heart is through valentine pretzel bites ;-)
I kept it really simple and just melted a candy melt on the pretzel. If you’d like more of a heart look, you can melt the candy melts in a bowl according to the package directions and then fill the pretzels to make the heart shape more prominent. Either way they are equally as delicious!
For the candy hearts, I used some I found at my local Dollar Tree. You can also use these heart sprinkles that I used in my Grinch Heart Pretzel Bites!
These are so simple to make. Preheat oven to 200F and line a cookie sheet with the pretzels. Top each pretzel with a candy melt and bake for 7-8 minutes just so that the candy melt is melted and soft but not oozing all over the place. Gently press each melted candy melt with a heart shaped candy or sprinkle. Let sit on counter or in fridge until candy melt has hardened again.

I used the butter flavor snaps and several color. Melts I had on hand for variety. Also used some Andes mints broken in two. I think they will be cute & yummy!
